The Worship & Fine Arts Ministry (WFAM),
McKendree-Simms-Brookland United Methodist Church has a long and rich history of music ministry. At its height, the sounds of the bell choir filled the sanctuary, and anthems rang out from the Lewis and Hitchcock grand organ, lifting hearts and spirits in worship.
Today, we are growing and adapting while honoring that legacy. We are joyfully rebuilding our Children’s Choir, nurturing young voices and faith. Our Chancel Choir continues to lead us in anthems and spirituals that ground our worship in tradition and reverence. Our Voices United Gospel Choir leads us in traditional and contemporary gospel music, inviting the congregation into expressive, Spirit-filled praise.
All of our choirs are open to all age groups, and we welcome anyone who desires to use their voice and musical gifts to glorify God and serve the church community.
